Tivaevae Design

For this task we created our own tivaevae design to celebrate Cook Island language week.

Tivaevae is a piece of patchwork used to decorate the walls, marriage and special events. In pairs we write some facts about Tivaevae. For example in english tivaevae means patches, which means pieces of material sewn together. In the olden days  parts of  Tivaevae were sewn by each woman. Lastly, after researching informations about it. We created our own one.

I find this activity is fun, because I learned something new about Tivaevae.

Anzac Quatrefoil

This week we planned to draw an Anzac quatrefoil and draw it on paper.

First we go on the quatrefoil to plan it.We need to write the colour that we planned to use and the shapes that we plan to use.

Then after we planned it, we drew it on paper.

At the end I enjoy doing this because I like it.

Whale Tail drawing

Last week we practise how to draw shading.

First we need use a piece of paper and a pencil,Using the pencil to make dark to light,

Then we practise drawing a shape and try to draw like a 3D.

At the end we draw our own one on the paper.

This is my Whale Tail.
