LI: To understand how scientists discover, record and learn from fossils.
For this assessment, we used Adobe Express to recreate an image of a fossil egg. My research partner and I discovered the skeleton of a Stegosaurus. The Stegosaurus is believed to have inhabited open woodlands and swampy environments. Did you know that Stegosaurus ate rocks to help the stomach digestion.
I find this activity enjoyable, because it provides me with the opportunity to expand my knowledge.
For this assignment, we are creating a DLO about data analysis. Data analysis is used to collects and organizing information in order to make useful assessments and decisions.
The objective of this data analysis is to identify the reasons behind LS2’s missed school days. It is evident that sickness is the most preferred option. We also had a conversation about how to prevent it and the negative effects behind for not coming to school. For example one of way you could prevent from it is sleeping early. Because it could support your brain and reduce stress.
I find this activity enjoyable, because it provides me with the opportunity to expand my knowledge.

The Story :
Once upon a time there was a volcano called Maungarei. His life was surrounded by the anger he had made. Maungarei don’t like imperfect things. Because it will look disturbed or shambles on the people who have made it. Whenever he got angry he always erupted like a magma – bomb.
People soon felt disgusted by him. One day, they got together and decided to teach him a lesson.Maungarei woke up from a loud pandemonium. His face showed the horrible damage caused by an earthquake.
Before he could become angry, the animals stopped him and said, “Stop,Maungarei!” How about we play a game of hide and seek?” “If we lose, we’ll do whatever you say.”
The outrange volcano stops and looks suspicious. “Sure what’s the deal then?”
“Let’s play a game of hide and seek.” “But if we win, you’ll have to become dormant,” the animals mentioned.
The countdown has begun. as if each step was met with complacent. He didn’t know that the earthquake had assisted the animals. As the time leaked out, Maungarei experienced a sense of anxiousness and dizziness. He soon turned dormant.
The world soon became peaceful after Maungarei had calmed down and fallen asleep. He has been asleep ever since. However, it is widely acknowledged that his volcanic heart is still beating. He will wake up one day. However, this will take place in the distant future.
For this assignment we are generate an AI image for our pourquoi Framework. We used”generative AI” in Adobe Express and typed all the details that we want. Lastly we download the image we want and put on our blog.
I enjoy this activity, because I learnt something new.
LI: To understand what a volcano is.
For this assignment we are creating an animation about the eruption of an volcano. Fun facts did you know that there were more than 1500 active volcanoes in the world!
This is a presentation on the process of a volcanic eruption. Magma storage in the magma chamber. In the event of a tectonic plates, the resulting material is often erupted from the site of the impact. The effects of the eruption could continue for an unkown period of time, lasting from days to months or even years. The lava will harden and transform into a type of volcanic rock. Lava is an molten liquid rock that came out from volcanoes. It’s mainly made from oxygen, crystal and silicon/ Si, include many other small amount of elements.
I enjoy this activity, because I learned something new.

For this assignment, we are researching a composer. I decided to research Barbara Strozzi. It is interesting to note that Barbara Strozzi was among the first women to publish her own work under her own name in during the 17th century. She is widely considered to be among the most significant composers in Italian history.
This activity is enjoyable because it provides an opportunity to expand my knowledge.
LI: To retell an event in history through the fictional eyes of someone who was there.
For this assignment we are writing a diary about the Anzac war and recorded it in vids.
We watched a video about Hami Grace’s diary and explored a website called “Walking with the ANZACs.” It’s a site with lots of informations about ANZAC dairy. We got some inspiration from that. So we decided to write it based on the experiences of the soldiers who were at Gallipoli. After that we recorded on the Google vids.
I find this activity is interesting, because I learned something new.
LI : To interview Samuel Marsden using Adobe Podcast.
For this project, we completed an inquiry into literacy. Our task was to create a podcast involving Samuel Marsden, who was a missionary in the 1820s. One team member assumed the character of Samuel Marsden and the other team members asked questions about what he did. The activity proved to be both enjoyable and informative, offering an opportunity to expand our knowledge.
LI: To create an infographic that tells others about the migration of the kuaka.
For this assignment, In a group we created a Kuaka birds information paragraph. Something interesting I found out about the Kuaka was they can fly from NZ to Alaska without stopping. From this DLO I can see they mostly lived in sandy places near water and wet sand that has been soaked wet by water.
I enjoyed the activity, because I acquire a knowledge of Kuaka birds now.
LI: To use Google My Maps to show the migratory flight path of the Kuaka.
For this assignment, we are mapping the migratory flight of the Kuaka. The reason why Kuaka birds travels so far is because they have many breeding grounds. These areas include Australia and Alaska, among others. Kuaka prefer wet/damp places to migrate in. They like to live near river, sea, etscetera……. The total distance between New Zealand and Alaska is 11,929.28 kilometers in total. Do you know that the word Kuaka in Maori means Bar-tailed Godwit/Birds of Mystery.
I enjoyed the activity, because I acquire a knowledge of Kuaka birds now.
LI: To understand the concept of visual storytelling.
For this assignment, we insert pictures to create a storytelling for Riverwalk. The first image shows that the classes was crossing the road. The remaining images are just playground, group photos and landscape.
I enjoyed the riverwalk, because it’s was fun to playing with my friend.
